- Gmail Sign-In (Optional): If you sign in to post content, we collect your Gmail email and name via Google’s API.
- Device Fingerprint: We create a unique device ID (e.g., from browser/OS info) to track search patterns, views, and conversions. This isn’t linked to your identity.
2. How We Use It
- Location: Personalizes your experience—showing nearby guides, tailoring searches, and tagging posts.
- Gmail Data: Manages your account and links posts to you.
- Fingerprint ID: Analyzes usage trends anonymously to improve araT.ph—no personal tracking here!
3. Sharing Your Data
We don’t share your personal data except:
- With Google for Gmail sign-in (see their Privacy Policy).
- If required by Philippine law or to protect araT.ph.
- Anonymized device data with analytics partners for trends.

5. Your Rights
Under the Data Privacy Act, you can:
- Access your data (e.g., Gmail info if signed in).
- Correct or delete your posts/data.

6. Data Retention
Location data is used in real-time and not stored long-term. Gmail data and posts stay until you delete them. Device fingerprint data is kept anonymously for up to 30 days, then discarded.
